During the meeting, which was attended by Mercedes Iberó, Secretary of Strategic Development, and Renzo Tamburrini Mayor of Sierra Grande, the technicians presented the structure of the work, which will include a diagnosis stage, a strategic foundations stage, and the design of the core project, in addition to a comprehensive compilation of the whole project, including a book with all the partial results of the work.
In addition, issues related to the development of the city and the improvement of services, as a result of the impact that the establishment of the GH2 plant will have on the community, were also discussed.
"The aim is to define the work plan. It is a collaborative process, with a wide range of agreement", explained Sanguinetti, and also said that "it is essential to maintain permanent contact because the more information we can exchange, the better the result of the proposal will be". He also encouraged strengthening the coordination between the Province, the Municipality and the community.
He also detailed the administrative process, the progress made in the area and the requests for soil studies.
On the other hand, he said that next week another tour is planned in neighboring Comisiones de Fomento to address the improvement of communication.
"The idea is that all the processes are being linked; we are on the right time in terms of the planning of the region in order to make it neat and tidy", he stated.
The Secretary highlighted the experience of the team of architects that will be working in the area. During the next few days, they will carry out field visits, and will hold meetings on specific issues with municipal and community representatives.
"We are working hard on the planning and territorial organization so that the community itself and the experts will be the ones to determine how the city should develop. I am convinced that they are going to do an excellent job," he said.
"To a certain extent, the project has already begun; and the fact that the professionals are working in the city is good evidence that it is already underway", he concluded.
The meeting was also attended by Carmen Lencinat, Director of Projects of the Planning Secretariat, Roxana Fernández, council member; and members of the municipal government and city councilors.
