Those responsible for the Territorial Urban Development Plan for the area of Punta Colorada explained to the Governor the long, medium and short term objectives and the main considerations after holding meetings with various sectors of the community.
In this first instance of diagnostic, last week's schedule included meetings with municipal technical teams, and authorities from the areas of Health, Education, the private sector, and Mapuche community representatives, as well as visits and photographic recordings in different parts of the city.
The technicians highlighted the good response of all the sectors involved, and assured that this facilitated the collection of the first data in the field.
They also said that in the next few days they will hold meetings with strategic areas of the Provincial Government to be able to make advances in those issues that go beyond the municipal sphere.
The work, financed by CFI, will last six months and includes a diagnostic stage, a strategic foundations stage, and the design of the core plan, as well as a comprehensive compilation of the whole project, including a book with all the partial results of the work.
