Several issues related to the construction of a port located in the free zone of Sierra Grande, which as a strategic point will allow the export of Green Hydrogen and will have a positive economic impact for the whole region, were also discussed.

"We want to highlight the work that has been done in the process of structuring the Free Trade Zone and to see how the different areas not only of Rio Negro and the country, but in this case from a Dutch University, are considering with satisfaction the potential that the province has to develop projects of these characteristics", said the Executive Manager of the investment promotion agency “Rio Negro Invierte”, Gonzalo Medina Cabrera.

The activities with the foreign students are coordinated with representatives of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), with whom they are analyzing the potentials and the strategic development that implies the construction of a port in that territory.

The final work will be concluded by mid-May and will be a valuable alternative academic work to the studies being done by the Province regarding the development of the Free Trade Zone.
