"We have the opportunity to recover the aim of leading the development and the change of the productive matrix in the province and the country for Sierra Grande and Playas Doradas ", said the Governor.
Earlier, Daniel Sanguinetti, Secretary of State for Planning, had announced the official approval of the executive project of the Australian company, which will invest in the generation of green energies in the province. "This project tells us how we are going to install new industries in the region and it is very significant for the country", emphasized Carreras.
During the opening of the Sewage Drainage System Master Plan of Playas Doradas, the Governor emphasized that “this policy is an opportunity to have a positive impact at a global level, because the energies produced here will replace others that today generate the global warming we are witnessing".
"The problem of climate change is nowadays very clear: we are experiencing very high temperatures, which exceed 40 degrees and we have a snowfall forecast for Monday in the mountain range, in the middle of January. There are few concrete solutions to this problem in the world. And we, from Sierra Grande, are going to propose an opportunity", he emphasized.
He announced that, together with the Municipal Government, they are moving forward in the creation of a Local Planning Council, which will work together with the 18 urban planners hired by the Province to project the development of the region before the arrival of new investments.
"We want a development according to the dreams of the residents, so they are being consulted, in order no one feels that developments they do not want are being imposed. Dialogue will be fundamental for the development to be in harmony, with inclusiveness and so, it is a priority that the residents have the opportunity to participate ", he concluded.
