The Governor, Arabela Carreras, and the Chancellor, Santiago Cafiero, will attend the event via streaming and will therefore support the delegation that will be in France, which includes the Mayor of Bariloche, Gustavo Gennuso; the Executive Director of the Ente de Desarrollo de la Cordillera, Laura Totonelli; and the Argentine Ambassador to UNESCO, Marcela Losardo.
The proposal of Bariloche as an international tourist center, scientific and technological center of the region will be the main idea of the presentation, and it will be highlighted the importance and the challenge that the development of an event of such magnitude can be for the city, the province, the country and the region. So far, no BIE Expo has ever been held in Latin America.
A new beginning, nature + technology, as is the slogan of Expo Bariloche 2027, aims to define a new world, based on a perspective of transformation around clean energies and in which nature is the axis of technological development, a process in which Rio Negro is already playing a leading role worldwide.
