Río Negro

It is worth mentioning that Río Negro advanced with China in a Strategic Cooperation Agreement between INVAP and the companies Jianxi Nuclear Power (JXNPC) and Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNARDI). The purpose is to export reactors and produce medical isotopes, which represents an improvement in the development of this kind of technology applied to medicine.

Bilateral relations are also progressing because of the Green Hydrogen Strategic Plan in the province. This constitutes a new paradigm at international and energy level for China, one of the main importers and users of this form of energy in the world.

During 2019 and 2020, the Province exported more than 2600 tons of cherries to the Asian country, which is also one of the main importers of beef, through Fridevi Storage Plant.

On the other hand, China is currently one of Argentina's main trading partners and constitutes the main pillar of exports and the country's main source of foreign currency.
